  • Course Description

    This program is for people that are keen to learn about keeping healthy and preparing nutritious meals. The course aims to empower you to best look after yourself and your loved ones. You will also learn how to cook healthy meals on a budget.

    You will learn food preparation skills to develop your confidence and experience to prepare for employment. This could lead to exciting work in cafes, restaurants, in food service within the hospitality sector or further study.

    Additionally, the course will allow you to contribute back to the community. The healthy food you prepare will go to people in need within your community.

  • Entry Requirements

    This course has no entry requirements.

  • Units of Study

    This course is non-accredited and does not contain units of study.

  • Pathway

    This course may assist you to get into work in the hospitality sector or provide you with a pathway into further study.

  • Study Mode

    This course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom setting, including discussion and some written activities. The course also includes hands-on practical experience in a commercial style kitchen.

  • Course Duration

    The course runs one day per week for eight weeks.
