This short course will introduce you to using basic functions on a computer.
It will help you to use email and social media when looking for work and will build your confidence in using a computer.
This four-day course will provide you with the technological skills you need to apply for work. You will gain practical digital literacy skills that can be applied in the workplace, including an understanding of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel and best practice in file management including naming and folder structures.
This course has no entry requirements.
Units of Study
This course is non-accredited and does not contain units of study.
This course can assist you to get into work and also may provide you with a pathway to further training. You will also have a better understanding of computer applications that will assist you in further study.
This course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom based setting.
Two days per week for two weeks.
Tea and coffee are provided. You are responsible for bringing your own lunch and snacks to class.
